Rural life can be filled with challenges…trying to manage the farm in amongst ever-changing weather conditions and commodity prices, trying to keep up with the government’s rules and regulations, while still trying to keep life simple and happy for your employees and your family. Find the balance at “The Farmer Wants a Life”.

Employer Obligations - Fair Work, National Employment Standards, Awards, discrimination, superannuation, single touch payroll… when it comes to employing people it can be a minefield of legislation and regulation.
Our HR expert will outline what you really need to know when it comes to your employees and how to
manage your obligations in a way that is practical for you and your farming business.
Finances - Our accounting experts will give you some simple tips to help you balance the books, manage
your cash flow and save yourself some tax while you’re at it. When it comes to Accounting software
packages we’ll outline what’s available and how to choose the package that’s right for you.
Retirement - Are you thinking about hanging up the boots but don’t know how? Our financial planning
experts will take a balanced look at how to plan for retirement (and still leave the kids something)
Your mind and body - We’ll conclude the session with a look at how to keep all the balls in the air (farm, finances, community, family life) and still keep your mind balanced.  There will be a few simple tips from our HR Manager, who also happens to be a fitness coach, on how to make simple changes that will change your life.
